Afternoon guys. Finally getting a chance to post since the Snowpacolypse. Been busy at work, we got about 14-15 inches at the house and it was that and more in some parts of the county. Had the National Guard transporting people and pulling ambulance

I am SURE they appreciate all that the both of you do and have done for them. And YES, being a caregiver is a LOT of work, work that for the most part folks don't think amounts to much, but it does.

It will definitely be good to have her back home! But I think this trip was a really good idea; a chance to see her folks again and help out her Mom. Life for a caretaker can be pretty rough, especially at their ages. The General was able to help

I looked at those for my 9mm carbine but wasn't real sure about the quality. Glad to hear they are OK.

When Dad died last year, he was 88. Never had any major health problems we knew of until his heart problems were discovered a week before he died.

He will be 84 in February, so he hasn't done badly. My father only made it to 63!

In all seriousness, I hope your FIL is doing better. I didn't know or forgot about his dialysis. HOPEFULLY he will get better, or be eligible for a transplant and can go on to live a long and happy healthy life.
