I voted Micarta all the way for myself, that and Res-C are my favorite handle materials. I like Canvas and Linen Micarta the best, I've worked with both in making handles and found the superior in many ways for me. G-10 makes great folder handles, but I prefer Micarta for fixed blades. Micarta is lighter than G-10 too.
