I'd like to get a Weaver Superslam to go atop the 223 upper I don't have...found a stainless Wylde 1:7 match grade hand-lapped 16" mid-length with a hybrid rail for a mere $420...Unfortunately, the company refuses to take drool as payment....

Also looking to drop $160 on reloading gear. Need a better powder trickler, crimp dies for the 6.5, 458, 30-06, and 25-06, a large trimmer, and I WANT an RCBS hand pri!me tool.

Of course, without H1000 or Varget anywhere to be found, reloading isn't gonna be all that easy. Why the recent run on powder? And should I be mortgaging the house for components at this point too?

The Vortex came in today. So far... WOW!

I'm glad I didn't get hung up on having illumination or some other fancy feature. I'm thinking this is a pretty good balance between a hunting scope and a "tactical" scope. The size, clarity, and side focus feature have me thinking I should seriously consider putting one of these on my CZ527.

And... More Mags!

I traded my impulse buy NEF single shot shotgun for 3 circle 10 mags. I already had plans to get more circle 10 mags and no real plans for the shotgun. Worked out pretty good...

Illumination, fancy doodads...all they do is cover up poor glass. Get good glass and you dont need the rest wink

Looks like a polymer lower. What parts are you using?

Yep its a current gen Omni the one with the zinc reinforcement insert I figured the 9mm isn't going to stress it much at all and I have had it laying around for about 6 months now.(I got it for 50 bucks out the door with a free magpul 30 rounder) I am using just the stock PSA lower parts kit that came with the set up its "OK" nothing special but totally usable. I was amazed at how quiet it is not much if at all louder than a 22LR, I think I may have to put a suppressor on it. Does anyone know if I can apply for the suppressor before I buy one so I can save and research while I am waiting on the paper work to go through?

Greaser, NOPE! You need to buy the suppressor first (to get the serial number) and then send in the paperwork. At least this is the way I understand it.

Well that sucks. Technology constantly changes and with the amount of time it takes to get big brothers approval you are behind the curve by the time it gets out of jail.

I would love a suppressor. I just don't know when I will ever break down and get one.

I did get my night sights and +2 mag extension in and installed today. Oddly the plus extension was way more difficult than the night sights.
