I had a really nice (I thought) good looking Highlander sword (not MacLeod'S). But I couldn't play "There can be only One" because the handle was so painful to hold. It was really ornate and LOOKED good, but was a terror to grip. Well along came Patty's Nephew and HE liked it, even the handle, so away it went to another home.

BTW I do have a Honshu "Tactical Wakizashi" that looks nice and is pretty sharp and handles pretty well (hence my desire for a 21 inch blade) but the handle (Tsuka) is very hard and kinda rough on the hands doing certain things. PLUS the FULL TANG is a LOT larger (Height wise) so I am so scared that it is just welded on to the blade under the guard (Tsuba) If it weren't for that I wouldn't be looking for a "Real" One.

Gary, I was caught in the need to be 66 for full retirement. When I retired last year I DID NOT start drawing Social Security. If I had I would have lost $200.00 a month. After figuring out how much I would get from the county we figured we could make it a year on that. We were right. I will now get my first full SS check the latter part of March (their payments run a month behind).

We’ll have to see what our options are when I get to 62.

I have a Honshu tanto that I picked up real cheap. I have used it on some shrubs and stuff in the yard and it has held up well. it seems to be made well. The handle has not bothered my hand unlike the experiences of some other poor babies here.

I didn't say I COULDN'T use it, I just said that doing certain maneuvers it hurts as the plastic is quite hard. Don't make me sic Hans and Frans on you! grin

What does it is the horizontal "Cuts" in the handle closest to the guard. The way I spin it (Yeah I know, but hey it looks cool). IF/when I hold and use it as I should, there isn't any problems. Thought I have better clarify myself so Y'all don't think I'm some kind of a fairy or something.

NO COMMENTS ABOUT THE WINGS GARY! grin

Maybe you should get a Smurf sword. It would be nice and soft and wouldn’t hurt your whittle hands when you spun it. Not likely to accidentally poke holes in your wings either.

I had a Dillon 550 about twenty years ago. Then a HUGE price drop in factory ammo happened (I was buying S&B 9mm brass case for $95 a case delivered) so I sold all of my reloading supplies.

When I get back into it, probably after retirement, I'll take a look at the 650.

Things have advanced I think they have a newer progressive now.
I will probably still shoot bulk 9mm and 5.56 fodder since brass processing would require to much time but for specific loads I absolutely need it. I haven’t found a .223 factory long range load that’s not under $1 a pop I’m impressed with.
