I picked up a PSA AK47 last week. Figured I’d diversify a little.

Congrats Todd; I have been thinking about getting one myself.

Got a bunch of old jade (different Chinese Dynasties and prehistoric cultures). Also two strands of nice naturally pink fresh water pearls for my girls for when they're a little older. Need to get some white pearls for my boys to give to their eventual spouses on their wedding days.

Also a Savage Tactical 11 in 6.5CM with a black multi-cam Accustock and a 24-26" fluted bull barrel. Finally. I've ordered various versions of it three different times only to be told they were sold out and it was a mistake on their sites. This was worth waiting for. Threaded barrel with a VG6 Gamma brake I had for it, a 20moa picatinny scope mount, Accutriger set to about 18oz, and melonited bolt with oversized tactical handle.

It was my Christmas present.

Probably the first time I've purchased a brand new bolt action rifle that wasn't an entry-level rifle and cost more than $350.

Hmmm....also picked up a 243 Axis for my oldest daughter and a 6.5CM Axis for my younger son, who then have his barely used 243 to his younger sister.

It was a Savage Christmas.

Also picked up a Remington 786 (780? whatever their new series is to compete with the Savage Axis) in 6.5CM, a 10/22, and a Mossberg 500 youth 20 gauge pump, as Dick's was closing their hunting section.

All were well below DSG's cost, and I used coupons galore to drive the prices down further. Figured I'd stick it to Dick's for a couple hundred bucks since they're sticking it to the nation....they won't be getting any more of my money after that.

That, and I can't pass up a bargain like those.... Remington was $230, Mossberg was 150, Ruger was 150...Something like that

The rifle sounds nice Joshua, but the Old jade REALLY has me curious. Course you know me and "Old" jade.

Yeah well, I'm pretty much done buying guns for myself. Focusing now on fixing up what I have and getting more trigger time

Abby guns I get from here on out are for the kids I think. Aside from one or two pistols I'd like to get someday, I can't think of anything I need.

... though speaking of buying something not needed... I DID order a Ratweiller

Again, did that with my kids in mind. Need to make sure there's enough love to go around! Trying to make sure no fights break out after I die some day.

I have used the same reasoning for years, but with my grandkids in mind.

I think my dad and I have that covered with the firearms... Knives are a different story... At least with Bussekin...

Got 500 9mm bullet. 8lbs of powder and 5k pistol primers. 2 lbs of rifle powder, 400 rifle match bullets of different manufacturers to try
And 5k magnum small rifle primers.
