Hi Guys,

I just wanted you all to know my father passed yesterday. I'll miss him and I'm really glad I got to share one last Scrapyard knife with him. Thanks Dan

So sorry to hear Ted. I know my Dad's last week was in a hospital. Fortunately, only the last day was bad. The other 6 days were full of memories and peace.

It's gonna be tough, but try and concentrate on the good times Y'all did have.

All of my thoughts are with you and the family.

When I lost my Dad it was really loosing my best friend in the world. Its been a while but every so often I see him looking back at me in the mirror...he was just as good looking. LOL I then smile at all the good memories. smile

He will always be with you.

All my best
Dan

This is strange. I picked up my Dad's ashes Friday and on the way home I stopped for fish and chips. When I got home I'm going through his stuff looking for the Spyderco knife he always carried and I kept finding receipts for times we had gone out together for FISH AND CHIPS! In total I found four different receipts for different restaurants, but it was always the same order. He'd have prawns and I'd have a 3 piece fish and chips.

It's not like we always had fish and chips, maybe 6-7 times in the last ten years. The only receipts I found last night were for fish and chips restaurants we went to together. I'm thinking I shoulda ordered some prawns with my 3 piece meal. frown

He also used to tell me he'd wake up at 4:44am every morning and then go back to sleep. Almost every day since he passed two weeks ago I hear him call my name in the morning and it wakes me up. It's always 4:44am.

Saturday morning I heard him say, "I'm going to bed" It was 4:44am.

The mind does weird things sometimes. There is so much to take care of and I'm exhausted.

Exhaustion will do strange things to us Ted. But then again, who can say he is NOT really talking to you. Only ONE being knows everything, and he was killed about 2000 years ago.

Hang on to the happy thoughts that come up, and remember that he will live on forever in your heart and mind.
