It's 0710 here, got about 10 more hours in the hot seat then a couple days off.

Rainy morning here, but hopefully it'll be a good day.

Tomorrow is the opening day of squirrel season, so I'll be in the woods most of the day.

Unless it's raining.

Yeah I figured it was time, and what better time than the beginning date of the New Season.

I had thought about this when I heard the announcement date for the new season but wasn't really sure it I should just do it without checking with the other mods or not. Then this morning when doing the updates I figured why not. The old one could always be opened back up and this one done away with.

Yeah, I was just wondering yesterday how much longer the old one was going to hold up.

It goes round and round, searching for the brass ring!

Usually starts going haywire by now.

My daughter called my yesterday, she's going to be at the house tonight down from Tennessee.

Found out why after I talked to my son. She wants to see the premiere of the Walking Dead LOL

I don't watch it but I guess I will tonight.

Well last Sunday Patty and I both took a nap and boy did it help. She is starting to sound hoarse so she may be coming down with something. We'll have to see. Maybe We'll get us another nap today.

I hope not. She's been through a lot here lately.

Plus you had your sickness here a couple weeks ago too.

I couldn't stay up all day like you do. When I was on nights I went in and went straight to bed. Even if I was off that night, I'd still sleep 3-4 hours.

I had tried several times to sleep, just never could do it. Maybe once I hit the big 60 things will change, IF I'm still breathing.

Morning guys. Only 12 more hours until season 4.

That's nice! Power just went out. We're on generator here for now.

You can't use the microwave and the coffee pot at the same time.

And with being in inte ALFA time zone I do have to sleep once more

We're just hanging around for now. TV is out, cable is out even if the TV was working. Only thing on is emergency lighting and the computer systems.

And of course the phones.

When I worked nights, there were times that I'd have over 100 posts in a night.

I think the most I ever had in one night was about 300 or so.

It was quiet at work and Randy, Tom and myself were in rare form.

I don't post as much as I used to since I went to day shift. Too much going on to be able to chat.

But the weekends are pretty quiet. Especially the mornings.

The downside is there's not many people on in the mornings to chat with. So I end up talking to myself a lot LOL

Not that that's unusual or anything, but here it's online.

Just got an update on the power situation. Transformer blew at the substation up the road. Power will be down for 3-4 hours minimum.

Hope our generator has enough fuel to hold out.

But only because we're so used to it.

Now getting to work last night was safe and sound was a toss up. It was FOGGY bigtime! My normal 20-25 minute drive took me 35 minutes.

I think I'm going to change my party affiliation to either Independent or Libertarian. I'm thinking more and more that the Libertarians have something there.

The RINO's have about ruined me on the Republicans. Cruz and Paul give me some hope for the Senate. My congressman is Meadows, that actually proposed the shutdown to defund the Obamacare, so I'm pretty happy with him.

I think that McCain has turned.

I believe if we cut back on the BS laws and went back to more of a Constitutional view we'd all be better off.

This "Shutdown" has proven that we don't need near as much "Government" as we have.
