So I’m looking into other good ways to CCW while running and hiking. I haven’t carried yet while running but would like to have a way to carry my G19, TQ, and my phone in a way that doesn’t scream tactical. Also for hiking I find AIWB uncomfortable and strong side carry prints a lot and with backpack or kid carrier straps the printing is worse and accessibility is poor.
So I was looking around and found the hill people gear kit bags and I’m wondering if one of those models would fit the bill for what I need. Anyone have any experience with them?

I have use a HPG Original V2 chest rig and I love it. I use a MIC holster with it.

I mainly use it for Hiking and ATV'ing. It's great. It stays in place and holds a surprising amount of gear. I keep a Tactical tailor admin panel in it to hold mags and small stuff.

I have been very happy with this setup in the back country. Its not fast but it's not too bad.

Any update on this?

I like HPG’s chest pack, but think it looks tactical. Basically anything with any MOLLE says “gun inside”.

A good old fashioned “dad fanny pack” looks so lame people don’t realize it may conceal a firearm. If ultra lame is too much look for one that holds a sports bottle . This is my solution. Be sure to find one that will support the weight of your gun and other gear. The really cheap WalMart bags can work unless you’re jogging. The thin material turns them into a pool cue. Guess where the eight balls are located ...

Just looked at HPG’s very basic waist pack ... $115 is too much for what you’re getting.

Maxped didn't have any "Daddy" packs. Tried condor Knives and tools. NO dice. Didn't know they now have a site for bags and such
