Well you tell me. You’re going hiking and need to cut weight in your day pack, are you leaving behind the mid-day snack or your knife? Do you really need to stay hydrated, or your knife?

The answer is easy with the Mud Mutt, take both.

The Mud Mutt weighs in at only 5.8oz !!! You won’t know the knife is even there.

(PIC of things heavier than a Mud Mutt 5.8oz) T-shirt 9.5oz, Banana 7.4oz, Two rolls of toilet paper 8.9oz, Box of 22 long rifle 6.3oz, VHS tape 6.2oz, Tape measure 14.9oz, Duct tape 7.5oz, Water bottle 18oz, Light beer 19oz

We are all used to tossing back a light beer, but is it really that light? They even labeled it light, but it’s not lighter than our 5.25” Mud Mutt. In fact it weighs more than 3 Mud Mutts!!!

50 rounds of .22 Long rifles shells. Never know when you will need those. Small compact box of 50 rounds still weighs more than the Mud Mutt.

Banana for a snack? You guessed it. Weighs more than the Mud Mutt.

Half used roll of duct tape, because it is never a full roll? Weighs more than the Mud Mutt.

A 16’ tape measure that can never be found when needed? Weighs more than 2 Mud Mutts.

Full water bottle that you can’t leave the house without? Weighs more than 3 Mud Mutts.

An XL t-shirt with an awesome design? Weighs more than the Mud Mutt.

Two roles of toilet paper, because one might not be enough? Weigh more than the Mud Mutt.

Add to our list, find things around your house or in your pack that weigh more than the Mud Mutt. If it weighs more than 5.8oz, it weighs more than the Mud Mutt.

I would never have thought of a T-shirt or a Banana for its weight being more than the Mud Mutt

The Mud Mutt is a real light-- heavy weight performer

It is. I was amazed and as we know it preforms like a much "Sturdier" knife.

OK, I gotta say it. If you need to take TWO rolls of toilet paper with you on a day hike, I must question how much hiking you will actually be doing. Oh and WHY would anyone take a VHS tape on a hike with them? I mean those things went out of style shortly after the last dinosaur disappeared. Just sayin.

Do not try and make it like you don't have a box full of VHS tapes collecting dust in your basement.
