So lets kick this off

My first real big boy job was being a Lifeguard at the age of 16 for a Private Swim and Tennis Club.

I made .50 cents an hour more than my buddies who cut the grass, did the trash and cleaned up around the Club. I sat for unbelievable hours watching the young ladies swim. Someone had too. I did all this to save up my money to buy a Honda 100 motorcycle.

It was so cool until I got hit by a car. Man did I love that bike. I guess you can’t have it all LOL

I mowed the grass for a company, then later progressed to doing odd jobs.

They waited to pay me until I racked up enough hours to make it worth cutting a check.

Was paid a straight $30 per day.
Worked 8 to 10 hours a day
5 days a week during the summer, Saturdays when school was in

By the way, how do you get the emoticons to post? I tried several things to no avail and have relied on colons and semi-colons with parenthesis brackets.
