A long time ago, a group of us were shooting skeet in an old hayfield. One of the guys noticed my S&W 622 on my hip and bet me $20 that I couldn't break a clay pigeon at 100 yards.
I took his bet. We sat one on a hay bale about 100 yards out, and I broke it on the third shot. laugh

I tried some long range pistol shooting, but never 300 yards.

300 is serious range. Most I have ever shot with a pistol is 100 and it was not pretty.

We used to have a deputy that would shoot gallon milk jugs at 100 yards with a 45acp. Oh did I mention he spent a few years in the Marines as an MP.

Back on topic.

I took the setup out for another nice run. This time it was running timed drills from concealment and doing some moving and shooting.

Then again at night at our outdoor range.

I have to say for CCW this thing absolutely rocks. No issues with being slowed down drawing and nothing noticeable in how the pistol handles and zero malfunctions.

At 25 yards there is plenty of light to ID targets and any threats. Shoot/no shoot targets weren't a problem.

There was actually a lot more light spill than I had noticed before. I was able to light up a huge area with plenty of light for working.

Still no issues with carbon build up on the lens. Which makes me pretty happy.

I didn't mess with the constant on but the rocker switch/momentary worked well for my needs. Moving tagging the target with light engaging and moving again.

The only thing that I will need to test is durability.

I am pretty pleased with the performance so far. Aside from the price I think its a great buy.

Thanks for the additional info MB. HOPEFULLY the price will get more reasonable and that will allow them to sell more.

Started looking at weapon lights so I can move my present light TLR-1 to a long gun and get one for my Beretta storm.
I looked up this thread and was wondering how it did/is holding up?

Just saw this. It's holding up well. It does have one quirk. If you don't use a lithium battery it burns through it sitting in the holster.

Or I got a bad batch of batteries.

I will say that if You already have a TLR-1 I would buy another. If you already have holsters for it save some cash. The TLR is brighter and has a better battery life.

The XC-1 is just small.
