We were able to visit with Mom for the first time since the middle of Feb I think. We had to stand outside the fenced in area where they take the smokers and they brought Mom out for about 5 minutes. Then she was ready to go back inside. We were told that the nursing home "Lockdown" would continue as long as Medicare/Medicade said for it to, which someone said could possibly be a year. We will just have to wait and see.

On a brighter note, Patty's son gave her a 50 inch flat screen smart TV for Mothers day. And Yes, she said I could watch it too Ray. grin

Mom passed away last summer. This Mother's Day was hard. I couldn't have asked for a better mother and I'm so glad I was there at the end to tell her that. If your Mom is still with you, call her often or stop by if you can and tell her what she means. You won't always have that opportunity smile

Patty's Mom passed away in September. This Mothers day was hard for Patty as well, but she was positive about it to an extent. She KNEW her mom would not have done well with this Covid fiasco going on so it gave her something positive to think of as well which helped. Sorry to hear about your Mom again DT. But she will ALWAYS be alive as long as you remember her even though you can't be with her. I miss my Dad but remember the things we did and the times we had and that makes it not as difficult.
