So on the 1020, lets talk about those War Dog handles.
So for the sake of conversation, lets say I've got XXL hands. Those WD handles look really petite, especially up in the index finger area. What's the percentage chance I'm gonna be disappointed with the 1020?

I wear Large/XL Gloves. I have a Wardog and it's a very comfortable handle. I find it a pretty normal size compared to most knives. The thing is if you have never held one you just don't know. Online sales and all make things difficult for those of us that like to fiddle with things before we buy them.

I have been fortunate. I have liked every handle on the SYKCO knives that I have bought. I only passed on one due to handle size.

Oh, I'm definitely getting at least one, I'll probably get a couple/three of them depending on colors available. I've got teenage boys that like sharp pointy things.

No one can say how you'll feel in particular, but get one coated in some different color (not black) and it might be easier to move if you're not a fan.

I don't have tiny hands--size large/XL gloves. I absolutely loved the War Dog and love the slicer I have with the same handle (fantastic general purpose kitchen prep and butchering knife).

The BEST handle for long hands IMO is the mudder grip. Then the Regulator, then the WD. I wouldn't want a Regulator grip on a 4" blade. I WOULD love a mudder (and have one). The WD grip is a great grip for a 4-5" blade. Much nicer in the hands than the Basic grip (though that isn't without its charms)

However, everyone is unique. What I love you might hate smile
