Since I just got a rail from them they are sending me some Arisaka accessories for the handguard instead. Which makes me a happy camper.

It depends on what you want to do with it Skunk. If you have a front sight post and want to keep it you can do a 2 piece rail or yo can do some gun smithing and add a free float rail depending on what you are looking for.

I like a flashlight on a working /Home defense gun.

I don't foresee mine becoming a home defense rifle. I would rather use a handgun or one of my shotguns for that.

Sigh. BATF has now come out with a ruling that shouldering a Sig Brace fundamentally changes a pistol into a rifle and makes it illegal unless you pay the tax. CAA Saddle seems like a good option at this point...

Also, using a hammer to alter a garment fundamentally changes it into a sewing machine, according to the BATF. This is going to be an interesting legal battle. don't throw away your Sig Braces yet...

Yeah I know. But still, NORMALLY if anything was going on outside where we live, it would still be one of my Weatherby TRS shotguns. Now IF we got over ran by a gang of pikers or what ever, a GANG, it would be a different. But for normal "Bump in the night" it would be the shotty first.
