This is close to what I want to eventually wind up with. Just imagine a white light where the vertical fore grip is, OR If I get real rich, a white light on the right side rail and a laser on the left side. And a Sparc II instead of the scope on it.

What sling do Y'all recommend. I think I would like at least a two point sling.

That looks F-U-N!

Wish it was legal here. I'm jealous!

I like the V-Tac and Blue force slings. I started making my own version for 1/3rd the price.

Look at this monster 525 grain Beartooth Pile driver........Ouch

I'll stick with my slowpoke 405 grainers.

I like my 45/70 as well easy to hand load and if your rifle can take it you can really ramp up the speed.

My 308 is my favorite hunting rifle as well.

Now with the Storm, two of the 6 mag carriers would give me more than enough. Two 5 rounders would be fine, but for just a buck or two more why not get the six packs! I actually think that the 8 mag pouches would be to wide. And who knows, when I start putting the carrier system together I may just decide that two 3 mag pouches would be enough. But hey, EVERYBODY wishes they had more ammo! wink

Finally gave up on the A2 upper and ordered me a 16 inch mid-length upper from PSA Friday. Hope to get it here and on my lower in the next week or so.

This is the one I ended up going with. I still don't have but around $550 in the entire gun, so I'm pretty happy with it.

That one is pretty hard to beat RTH for that price anyways, let us know how she shoots when you get it.
