A modified .300Win case for my Hornady Lock n Load OAL gauge, a Lee Factory Crimp die for the same (did I mention that already) and some freeze dried meals in different flavours so me and my mate can taste test and agree on the 2x servings to share while in the bush.

DT, PLEASE let me know what you think of the Spitfire. I ALMOST ordered a lucid HD7 gen III but then found the ar15 spitfire scope by vortex (due out this summer). I HAD intended on getting the spitfire so any info about how it actually works would be appreciated.

I love it Randy. It's nicer than the other red dots in that it still works even if the battery is dead. Also prefer the circle and dot vice the simple dot. Would prefer the 3x for a shotgun or 458 sight, but for an unmagnified one, it was on sale for $178 shipped at Midway which is the only reason I got it--sold my SPARC to fund it. Vortex optics are fantastic, AND they have the lifetime warranty. I haven't seen the Lucid in person so can't speak to it, but if you can catch the Vortex on sale for $150-180, I'd jump on it. Midway or palmettostatearmory are your best bets.

Someone was asking me about Vortex last night. I have no experience, but have read they're a very good value.

Thanks to a kind gift I'm now interesting in "nice" folders. This means I had to try a ZT. Bought a ZT 0350.

Parallel to my ZT thread I'm thinking about additional ZTs while I wait on delivery of my 350.

Picked up a Dogfather on the Exchange last night.
