T88 you will probably get a chuckle out of my day. I spent 2hrs researching tires for bikes and the best for what I’m doing to discover that the rear tire I settled on wasn’t in stock anywhere... ugh.

Man tires can make all the difference for terrain. Its been about 3 or 4 years since ive rode and technology moves real quick. You should join pinkbike if your not already a member. Got a pair of conti trail king 2.2 on the rear and 2.4 on the kiddos bike and maxxis high rollers on the wifes.

And yea sorry to say gun dog.. but it did make me chuckle

My bike came with 2.35in Maxxis Forcasters with EXO side walls which is a light trail/XC tire and when I was warming up to the bike wasn’t bad but now that I’m pushing harder and faster I’m finding I’m washing out more and would like a more aggressive tire. Leaning towards a 2.5 maxxis assegai EXO+ from with. 2.4 maxxis dissector exo+ rear but the EXO+ is out of stock so I have to pick a lighter or heavier casing.

Wow Mike, to think that I was happy with my old Schwinn . Of course it wasn't a mountain bike.

Never thought I would see such “tech” in bicycle tires. Like Tom said, we rode what came in the bike. If new tires were needed, a trip to Western Auto (pre Walmart) solved that problem.

The frames and suspension are what blows my mind. The way theyve been able to reduce travel with better response and controll but still handle insane abuse.. nasa tech lol
