The Scrap Yard DB-322 sports an 8” blade and backs its strength with a .210” thick piece of SR-101. The flat saber grind begs to cut and the Resiprene C handle brings comfort with every swing.
Its looks call out the need to subdue objects in its way. This knife will find its home in the woods, workshop or as your dinner guest slicing that 4-inch-thick U.S. Prime steak!!!

What's the reason for the humps on the spine I wonder. Are they purely aesthetic as I personally would find it cleaner looking without them and I'd imagine they are a nuisance for a sheath maker but maybe there is a good reason.

That's my kind of knife! Hopefully I'll be quick enough to get them. Congrats Dan!
Would love to see 10" version in .35" stock as future offering if you accept requests 😁

Any chance for a close up shot to see the grind a bit better?

Man, that's one good looking blade! If I had the money I'd be all over that satin model!

As for the hump question above, it's a thumb stop for choking up on the blade using the choil. Once you use it, you begin to understand and appreciate it. Last thing you want when using your hand directly on the blade is for anything to slip grin

Hmm. This seems like a nice blade to get back into the heavy bowie market.
