Here's a couple quick pix of my new survival knife combo. These are also my first official Busse knives. The FBM is massive I love it, however I think I'd rather have one of the fat flat BM instead. I don't really care much for the ripples on the blade I also would rather have had the magnum grips but hey at least I finally got a Busse. The GW is also an awesome little blade it fits great in the hand and as soon as I get a sheath I think it'll become part of my EDC. Hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to try them out and maybe post some more pix. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

For functionality, Kydex (or some other polymer based product).

That's a nice hawk BowBoy, who makes it? Thanks for the help Bond!! Its a Fort Turner: www.fortturner.comOverall I have been very impressed with it. Mine is the smaller "Trapper" version, its smaller and light for backpacking and it still gets the job done well, I highly recommend. I did the leatherwork and customizing myself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Great combo, Dom. With those two, you should have any cutting chore covered! A combo sheath would be nice. They look great together!

BowBoy that's a good looking sheath for the S6 it, looks very secure. I've had a few kydex sheaths made by different people that did not hold the knife securely. That's my main concern the knife being held securely in the sheath.

That's my main concern the knife being held securely in the sheath. You might be able to have the Kydex maker put a strap on the sheath. When I rappel (falling steel is not cool for the belay), I use my nylon SpecOps Combat Master sheath.

I've never had any issues with it not being tightly secured, in fact it took awhile to break it in so it wasn't so hard to get out. You shouldn't have any problems but it never hurts to have the strap on like J33ps said just to be safe.

A nylon strap would be nice for added safety and security. Hopefully I'll be able to put Leatherface to work shortly and have a sheath for my combo.

My Leatherface SS4 sheath was formed off a different SS4 but is tight as a glove, even given an upside down HARD shake!

Hi Dom, I don't believe I have ever said hi to you before, so HI!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Glade to see you have exotic taste in blades. If I were a wealthy man I too would have chosen the exact same colors and blades from the Busse line up. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
I will have to buy a Game Warden one day soon I'm sure by this December twenty fifth. I really love the large handle and stout look of the Warden. Here in Wisconsin we have to wear our 3 inch or smaller blades in plain sight for all to see. If you do not it is considered concealed carry and that is a BIG no-no here. So the three inch and thick INFI Warden is just a dream come true to me. i could wear it everywhere without any trouble ever. "sigh"
The scales on yours are just the same I would or will buy one day soon. Beautiful. Just perfect in my eyes. Thanks for sharing Dom and also helping me be absolutely sure that I do indeed NEED that Warden! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
Peace.

Thanks for the pix guys and nice combos.
Prince of Peace, the GW is a great little blade. I was skeptical at first because of the size but as soon as it was in my hand I could tell it's a great little knife. As soon as I can get a sheath it's gonna be my EDC knife. I haven't put it through the paces in the sticks yet but I would definitely recommend the GW to anyone.

That is a really nice combo! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> I hope to run across a GW like that at Blade. I want to make a neck sheath and pocket sheath when I get one so that I can switch up depending on the situation.
A really nice combo sheath outfit would work real good for that...them knives need some GOOD PANTS!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
