It started with simple cord wraps and lanyards.

I've tried my hand at mirror polishing, wish i still had this thing.

reprofiles, convexing, and woodburning...

and finally, i've done a custom scale. the rotary tool was invaluable for this project. as was E6000 industrial.

yes, deluxe tinker. i used the main blade of the oht, slid it into the toothpick and tweezer holes, and gently wedged them off. it's easy. scales won't last through it more than a few times, though, as you'll lose a little plastic with each removal.

Oh I thought that was the name of the tool you used. I have never heard of that adhesive.

I’ve seen some SAK mods where they replaced the scales with polished wood ones. Those looked really nice as well.
