The RMD is one of the all time great knives IMO. I love all 12 of mine!

I know- the last four are late arrivals and I haven't taken pics yet. Two of those are heavy users.

Well, have you ever got some loose clothing (or hair) caught in a figure 8? A good knife can come in handy! I climb with most of it. The grappling hook is made in China, and I would consider it for show. I’ve been rappelling since I was a young teenager, usually off our radio/TV tower. I learned how from a friend that was in Special Forces, and a friend of a friend who was a Navy SEAL. Only got in trouble once rappelling, when a friend and my brother and I snuck into our church after hours and we were rappelling off the balcony.

Ksjumpmd is a monster collector, he has some sweet steels of many colors who's helped out many here and more

K-man is the man! I think he was a sheik with several harems in a past life!

ksjumpmd, sweet collection. I wonder who bought the complete set from the store site a few months back?

The color combo I really want but seems to be really rare is the black/dark grey.

The RMD is one of my favorites. I am planning on picking one up one of these days, if/when funds allow (gas prices are making this a lot more difficult these days... saw $4.20 per gallon yesterday).

I think that's just the same as the Urban Grey and Black under a different lighting.

After seeing the new pic above. Is the swedge the extra piece of handle on the black compared to the tan handle? Near the finger guard.
