Hello to all.
It is a wonder what a day out in the outdoors can do for the soul. I have been thankful of all you guys sharing the pics of your blades and your walk-abouts. This has been a long year for me due to some sickness, not getting out in deer season, or even getting to do any walk-abouts due to my teaching and coaching jobs. Well, I made it to spring break, 9-days before I head back to school, off season football, and summer wrestling (this is he longest period I have off so I don't want to hear about teachers getting a summer off ).

Anyway, I thought I would share some pics I took today as a repayment for all the good pics, info, conversations, and friendships I have made here in the last six months. Thanks again, I hope you enjoy (someday I will get a decent camera and learn to take better pics ).

Here is the story. About 15 years ago I ran across an old building/barrack on some Oklahoma State Wildlife Management land. This land use to belong to the US military up through WWII. We have found all kinds of casings and bullets from military calibers between US .30 Cal to .50 Cal. Anyway, I have looked for the barrack a couple times and never found it gain. I have not been back to that area in about 12 years. I got up today and the camping plans were thrown out the window due to the wife being sick so I loaded up and headed out. I found it today!

Here is the start of the scrub oak forest. [Linked Image from i220.photobucket.com]

A new find, found this cellar out in the middle of the woods. I looked for signs of a house/building but did not see it. I was running out of time so I will go back to explore this one at a later date. On a side note, the construction is similar to that of the above barrack. There sure was a lot of old trash thrown in the cellar.
And lastly, a pic of my SOD LE in pants being worn it the outdoors where it belongs!

Again, I hope you enjoy the pics and don't come down too hard for my lack of picture taking skills.
Take care

The cellar was about 12 ft in and there was not any off-shoots either.
