Great pics, sumo. That is a classy sheath for your SOD!

Thanks for sharing the pics Sumo.

AWESOME sheath on the SOD.

Looks like you need a nice holster for the S&W.

Interesting barracks and cellar. Makes me try to visualize how it may have looked and been used MANY years ago.

Nice pics, Thanks for sharing! I used to love going through old abandoned buildings, lots of fun, and you never know what you'll find!

Thanks for all the comments guys. As to pants for the Smitty, I would love an IWB and OWB leather one but finding it is not easy. The Smitty is a 3" Comp on the K frame from the Performance Center. I generally have a Smitty 27 with 5" brl in a belt holster but there is nothing in season and I did not want to explain myself in case I ran across a warden LOL.

Shaman15. He hooked me up. Believe it or not, this was his first SOD sheath.

I saw a Buck Strider, quite possibly the finest MRE skinner ever made - cutting those tinfoil packages can cripple most pocket knives. How do you like it?

(and when carrying several knives, why not have a dedicated MRE skinner? It's only reasonable )

That looks like a nice day out,it really is good for the spirit to get out into nature.I read a study not too long ago where a major university took children with ADD and did a study.Half the group was put on Ritalin and the other half taken daily on nature hikes and the improvement results for the second group were much beter than the drugged up ones.

Meat you forgot to mention the Ritalin group all lost over twenty pounds each!

Thanks Sumo for that wonderful pictorial! The trip was for me beautiful and informative. The cellar looks like a spider place.... PoP does NOT do spider places.

Is it my imagination or did the Muk penetrate deeper than the Son of Dog Father? Got to love that Muk! The shape grows on me more every day.

Thanks so much for sharing your private "special" place. It was a joy for me and mine!

Peace.
