Well... got my Scrapper 6 and now thinking about how best to carry it... I know all the usual suspects for custom sheaths... what are you guys thinking?!

I will probably keep this one in my car for emergency use and around for the occasional camping trip.

Nothing against fine leather, but to spend 60+ on leather for 90 dollar knife....just don't make much sense to me.....If its going to be a truck/camp knife, I would go for one of those nylon with a front pouch to stick a few extra goodies in there.

I wouldn't mind a kydex rig for IWB carry, for when i want to pack some extra-heavy artillery...

Ditto, I'm hoping that someone will make an affordable leather sheath for these. I'm still trying to convince myslef that I need a $60 sheath for a $90 knife. That's why I bought the nylon, for now...

GregB

P.S. My S6 arrived yesterday

GregB - Congratulations to you, me, and everyone else who received their Scrapper yesterday. It is a really nice knife, and deserves a decent sheath. I think the cordura/kydex sheath is fine, but should be INCLUDED in the price - after all, we aren't paying WalMart prices for WalMart knives. Anyway, I may try to make one from some scrap leather, and ask my wife's co-worker, who has the tools and machines for sewing saddle leather, to make one also. Either way, I like leather sheaths for my knives whenever possible. Tom

There is no theory of evolution. Just a list of creatures Chuck Norris has allowed to live.

Spec ops is a great company! I don't even own one of their sheaths, but I bought one from a gentleman at a discounted price because it was missing the kydex insert...I contacted Spec ops and in 3 days it was here...no charge whatsoever!..I don't even have the sheath yet!

it's almost like we're paying walmart prices for Busse knives... SYKCO is even more Swamp Rat-like than Swamp Rat.... But seriously, the Sheat i got from SYK to go with my S6LE is MUCH nicer than the one that came from Blade -- the liner is better, it's MOLLE compatable, i could go on but its a great sheath... even the cordura is a better quality than the other nylon rigs i have... A really good deal for $17 or whatever it was.

not to say i wouldn't rather have a leather one if it was offered... or a Buy Brown kydex... more choices would be a plus...
