OP Jac The Slayer Pooch J Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 60 Brooklyn Park, MN	i stripped and convexed my CG SOD today, but before i convexed it, i decided to test the difference between a standard "v" grind and a convex edge. the test was to chop through a pine 2x4 backed up on a stump. the V grind took 108 and 103 chops to get all the way through. i then took the SOD to my harbor freight 1x30 belt sander. i started with a medium then moved on to super fine belt with several dips in to cold water. i then tested it again on the pine 2x4 with the results being 56 and 58. Not a bad improvement considering i maybe spent 15-20 minutes on the edge. note:the number of chops may seem high, but bear in mind im only 5'7 and 110 lbs. all in all, great product Dan and i can't wait to get my S5. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
