OK, this is Memorial Day weekend and I noticed that this is post 1861 for me. I figured that my posts 1861-65 would be American Civil War blades. I like these blades and wonder if they were the SY blades of their time? I do not know a lot about blades of the CW except a lot were carried, especially by the soldiers of the South, and used in last resort situations--like today. Anyway here they are. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Wonder how the tip was broken? Battle, a kid, prying something open?

This one looks like it would fit in the hand pretty good.

One of my favorites. Love the stag on the handle and the double sided blade.

This is my favorite. I have loved this style since I was a kid and saw one in a CW museum.
