A friend took my camera so I won't be able to post pics until at least after tomorrow.

but one of the fastener is a bit off center. Should I try to take it off and hammer it in?

i'm probably WRONG here, and i hope the knifemakers on the forum correct me if i am, but could you not take a metal punch, insert into the hollow pin and put the knife onto two wood blocks, and then 'drift" the punch LIGHTLY with a hammer to re-align the tube.....

please dont do this unless one of the knifemakers approves......its just a thought...
