Yeah, I find it feels like a corner pub to me. A nice cozy atmosphere that folks drop in to enjoy and visit with others.

I think it can pretty much stand for whatever we want.

A decent chunk of all posts on this forum have been from the death chats.

I think I have 2,000 posts on another forum but that's over almost 8 years. Somebody hacked my account a year ago and I got banned for something. Tried to contact the mods but oh well...

I didn't start out until I had a computer built while stationed at Pope AFB, right next to Ft. Bragg in Fayetteville North Carolina. Dial up only of course, 1991 it was. You got the phone number to someone's computer, fired up the old modum and watched each letter slowly show it's self on the screen. Yeah Those were the days, may they never return!

It was a lot easier to keep up with posts then though. People just couldn't post as fast.

i was younger then but nobody knows how old I am outside of my family. I never tell anybody but as I get older people seem to get closer.
