Hi all,
today after several rainy days we go out finally...as on the mountain we had more snow recently, we decided to "explore" <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> another step of Stizzon river...
this little river is various, so never mind about annoying...

I used for the first time the Berghaus Airflow III I recently bought, I'm pretty fine with it...I'll take with me my empty can, I will use it to do an improvised whistle (I'll show you later)

SY MUk was usefull to improvise a "bridge", preparing wood to cross a part of the river

coming back we decide to use the "normal" way :-)

Yes I like my MUK, it's really handy, light but rough when needed, pretty friendly to see, in few words he's a workhorse who go ahead to the goal :-)

I had to come back and look at the river pic. The picture is so refreshing. This time of the year I get cabin fever and start to long for some walk-abouts.

Holy S--t. Brown Trout? Do you fish for them in season? Please tell us more about fishing for them. Spinning, bait, lures or flies?
The best to eat.
Thank you Fredo for the pic.

Unfortunately not, I don't fish them... I just eat them :-)
I have several friends that fish on the rivers around here, and they especially use spinning for this kind of Trout (Fario), but they let me know fishing techniques changed by the different places (with many woods around, just sand on the bottom of the river, rocks, ecc.).
The area were you may find this kind of Trout here in Europe:
