I hate little iron balls rolling around on the floor or on the ruscksack pockets :-)...so I decided to fix it.
This way you have 4 ammo always available on the handle of the catapult, and others ammo are well packaged, replacable and taking no space on the pockets (in this case, 10 ammo per each tube). Hope you enjoi! Ciao, Alfredo

Great idea. I have not used a slingshot since I was a kid. I might have to pick on up for the fun of trying it out again.

Have you used your slingshot to take game?

That's a really good idea on how to carry extra ammo. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I'm like sumo. I haven't had one since a kid but I would love to have a sling shot or two just to do a little damage. I had a cheap one as a kid but if I remember it was pretty effective.

Wow, there are some really neat slingshots there. I am thinking it might be a good build project. Thanks for the link Andy.

Yeah, I liked the antler one and the aluminum one. I'd like to try to make both sometime. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Another Great idea from our Italian brother! Oh hey Alfredo, How about If you drilled a hole in the handle, inserted your ammo and then covered the end of the hole with a plastic or rubber plug of some kind? Would that work?

Thanks! Don't know, need to try....inside the handle it's a sort of "plastic structure" that I won't damage...I'll let you know!

Ok, I wasn't thinking about the inside of the handle not being solid. I also just thought, how far down into the handle does the aluminum go and would that be damaged by drilling.
Man, sometimes the bright flashes of thought turn out to not be all that great once you actually give some thought to them. Oh well.

That's a good idea for ammo carry. I occasionally carry a slingshot while deer hunting. I post up on a good vantage point and rattle a few shots into a coulee or willow thicket. Sometimes you can get em up and out into the open.
