I don't think somberbear or anyone involved has any bad intent here. But a thread dedicated to just deal spotting doesn't seem appropiate to either the knife forum or the Outdoor and Fieldcraft forum. Now if one of us happens to find a great deal on some gear and shows it in use that is fine. And we can even mention where that item may be found. But I do not think that a thread only about deal spotting is what these forums are about. We are mostly about Scrap Yard knives and their appropriate uses, sometimes along with other gear. I am shutting down the deal thread to keep any of us from crossing the line.
