I just want to take this opportunity to Publically thank Myketheknive. He had a spare double monkeyfist lanyard laying around and it now will reside on a MilReg in Southeast Missouri! Oh and there was a really neat Maxfire speedloader as well!

Well gentle folks it is coming up on 10 minutes after 11pm here. I have been up since about 0530 (which is an ungodly hour to be awake unless you have been working all night). We have to be up again early in the morning because of a doctors appt at 0840 and it takes an hour to get there and we have to do the 3 S thing, well I do anyway. So that makes it around 6am for a wake up. Again, TO EARLY!
So with that thought I bid you all a good night and a better tomorrow. Peace and rest to you and all you hold near and dear to your heart. And don't forget to watch your back, because someone is.

I was at a book store today. I realized how out of touch I am with the modern world. I got some early christmas shopping done. Bought a book for my mother and 3 collectors edition John Wayne American Cowboy magazines for a couple people and one for myself. I decided I would take a look in the self improvement section to find a few DVD's I have been looking for. Much to my shock they have never heard of The ART of the Tactical Carbine or the Dynamic Shotgun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Were you at Barnes and Noble? I swear that place has a tumor called Starbucks growing on it. Probably why the Magpul DVDs aren't there. Evening Fellas! Dropping in to say Hey, about to go watch Predator 2 for old times sake. "You'll Be Back ECF".... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />....Oh wrong movie...Well I didnt want to say..."Your one Ugly ...... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Evening yard!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" /> you could always say "Get to the Choppah!" Get it? Chopper? like Dogfather Chop... ok, I'm done. Lol, It was just as kinda cool and cheesy at the same time as I remember. I'm amazed at the level of response in the new modern servos that they used for the animatronics versus the old ones from the 1st two movies. Predator 2, the mandibles moved in a jerky manner, AVP and AVPr they move fluidly and lifelike. As tech improves, everything starts to look better.

Oh Man, I brought my Regulator inside the office from the Jeep tonight and was going to put the double monkeyfist on it, Notice I said I WAS going to. Well It ain't gonna happen tonight! Man talk about a tight fit. I think I am going to have to loop a strong piece of string around the lanyard and try and pull it through the lanyard hole. HOPEFULLY I can finally get it installed that way. One thing for sure, once it's on it ain't gonna slip off!
