Hey, speaking of west coast folks, did you happen to read Ted's post about a gunsmith that worked on one of mine SEVERAL years ago, maybe about '95?

Knew I haven't seen him around in a while, thought I was just missing him. Is he ok?

Well he's been kind of under the weather but has had a few fairly good days he said. He doesn't really say to much unless you ask him about it.

Guess we do live in a small world, knife and gun wise! Not that many good smiths out there, and the ones that are get pretty well known.

Yeah, back then Quintrall was noted as one of if not the best sig smith around.

I know he did a miracle on mine!n I couldn't believe it was the same gun, really!

Hard to find a good Sig smith! 1911 smiths are fairly easy to find, not sure about a GOOD 1911 smith though.

Just need to do your homework. Get the gun rags and read the articles and see who is getting the attention.

And on that note, Just heard Patty coughing so I am going to go check on her and probably won't be back on tonight.
