I've finally gotten my Weiner and Muppy "Hair scraping sharp" but am just having a devil of a time getting it any farther. I've even stropped it on a note pad and that did smooth the edges some, but still not what I can do with a carbon blade. The compounds really do work well

I might have scared a few people the next morning , we were sitting outside drinking coffee and recovering and I had a 7 inch blade out touching up the blade, making that knife on stone hissing noise, pretty funny

Ah, music to my ears! I have been doing that so many years I can USUALLY tell when I have the "Right" angle just by the sound the the way it feels as it slides over the hone.

I'll tell you, the more I use My Muppy the better I am liking it. I thought being as thick as it is and being so short it wouldn't be all that great, but being as wide a blade as it is really makes all the difference. DAN DONE GOOD!

thats the thing about bussekin knives, the things are nearly indestructable, can't really say that about most other knives

not much trail riding, having had the time the last new weekends with the holidays and what not, I can't wait till the time change when its not dark at 6 o clock anymore, might be able to do a bit after work,
