I can understand where they are coming from with this. But how far are we going to go? we got the "full body scanners" due to the underwear bomber. Now if they decided to put some explosives in where the sun don't shine are they going to put the gloves on and check that also?

Went camping this weekend. I'm ashamed to say that I didn't have any Scrap Yard choppers with me. I had a Basic 11 and a Chopweiler, a couple of khukuries and a tomahawk. I also had a custom chopper from Gerry Drew. It was a nice trip. My wife didn't dig it as much as I did. We were tent camping and it was about 25 degrees out. I loved it.

All silliness aside I do agree with you. When the question is "how far is too far?", I think they went too far long ago. But I think national security should be number one. It's a catch 22.

It has gone to the point where some people rather drive 10+ hours than fly. My aunt just came back from the airport and she saw a 12, 13 year old getting the "enhanced pat down". Flying used to be a lot more fun...

ah speaking of camping. Been awhile since I went for that. I think I'm due for a camping trip!

I've never been the subject of an airport patdown but, I've had to witness my wife be singled out and patted down on numerous occasions. That with the fact that she's a very attractive woman and that I've never had it done to me leads me to believe that it is in no way random.
