I think we all are sick of it! I feel sorry for the folks in NY

Even where they are used to snow, getting dumped on the way some places have still stinks!

I just wanna know what happened to the warmer and drier winter that was forecast?

Don't know if I've told you this, but a lot of winters we don't even see ANY snow. The past two years we've gotten it pretty bad, for us.

Guess you're in one of those spots where it goes around you. We're kinda like that here, at least part of the year. 10-15 miles north or south and they can get plastered and here it will be ok.

We're on the eastern side of the mountains, they block anything from the west. Only time we get much snow is if it comes from the gulf up through Atlanta. That's how they've hit us this year. Even the Outer Banks got 6-8 inches a couple weeks ago.

Don't really know why weather can miss us here like that, not any mountains over here. I mean gee whiz, we're only 25 miles west of the Mississippi river. But a lot of the time it will go around us to the north and sometimes to the south.

We're in some "horseshoe" here, can be all around us and not snow on us. I don't mind.....

I wouldn't mind if it did snow if I lived on a paved road. My drive is steep and unpaved, and gets really slick if it snows. I can handle it in my truck, but my wife's vehicle is awful in the snow. She can't walk up and down the hill in the cold wind and snow, so I end up having to ferry her back and forth. And you know the saying: When Mama ain't happy, ain't NOBODY happy!

Well it's back to the grind for me tomorrow night. But only for about 3 weeks then I'll be on vacation again for another week.

You know, by the time my vacation ends, I'm usually ready to go back to work. It's funny, but I don't like being off for that long at a time. About a week is all I can stand.
