That puukko is made by master bladesmith Markku Vilppola. Everything is hand-made except the little ring that is combining the belt loop and seath. The blade is RWL34 damascus, handle is curly birch, brass and water buffalo horn.

Hello all. How is it going? I got a new thing today, something I have been wanting for about 15 years. In fact I wanted when I was a kid but did not in this form. I will have the wife take a pic and I will post it when I am on a regular computer. I was really surprised when the wife took me there and insisted I get it.

Gonna get some sunflower seeds and clean house on those chipmunks tearing up my yard. Rain storms hit today, and the chipmunks tore huge holes in their mad dash to get out of their burrows. Seeds go on a board leading up like a ramp onto a five-gallon bucket half filled with water with a ton of sunflower seeds floating in it. Friend o' mine took out ten chipmunks that way last year. That's what I'm aiming for.
