Jeff, I think I am over thinking this to much, can you explain it in VERY simple to understand words for one of us mentally challenged? Is there a problem with hand over-run onto the blade? That Lynn Thompson guy that owns a different company has a cheap knife called a Finn Bear that might be worth a shot to see if you even like the style.

Im good Sumo, Ive only got one class now that its summer so Im not quite as busy. Im getting really good grades (for once) and things are going swimmingly for the most part. I miss the yard but it doesn't seem appropriate to spend as much time on the internet now that I'm back home with the wife. That being said I need to be better about popping in every once in a while. Also I got my first Emerson in the mail yesterday, a CQC-7 and its pretty cool...

Thank you Sumo for helping me out with this one. It's a matter of using your head when using puukko. I had my first puukko when I was 5-6 year old. My hand has never slipped on the blade.
Puukko is classic, traditional and Finnish national knife. It's a tool that has been carried and used for hundreds years.
Every country has its own "puukko": bowie, tanto, balisong, douk-douk, karambit...

I was excited because my fiancée brothers girlfriend is Finnish, and they were going to take a trip over there, and I was like, bring me back a cool/ good made in Finnland puukko, but she had no idea what I was talking about, so I told her nevermind
