Greens - I remember that story being posted over at the Swamp; yes, he cut his way out with a Camp Tramp.
I keep a Camp Tramp in my fold-down arm rest in my truck. I don't really worry about the Law having a problem with it, as I always have my pistol along also - benefit of a CCW permit. It's a shame that Paul and others in foreign countries - including Canada, have to worry about potential problems while being law-abiding citizens.

Now, I would GLADLY have a Scrap Yard BOWIE with me in my truck, if Dan will release it!

Greens - Thanks for reminding GF to mention that we want the BOWIE! We don't want Dan to think we're not interested in it anymore.

Again, luckily this is not a problem in IN. I can carry any sized knife I want, anywhere, open or concealed. Nanner Nanner. (Yer jealous as hell, I can feel it.) Another option might be one of those small gun safe things that have the outlines for your fingers and you “type” in the code and the door pops open. I don’t know if they make them big enough or not. I’ve also seen one they make that reads your fingerprint and pops open. I think that might be better in an emergency, because if you are in shock or something, (from stress or injury) you might not remember the “code”. It would be more expensive than an ammo can, but it would be quicker to open in an emergency.
