After getting the TG and realizing that double guards aren't so bad, I've realized just how cool the regulator is. I don't have enough Scrap Yard steel, so I think I'm going to add the 7.5" regulator to my list, along with the ScrapMuk.

Anybody have both the TG & Regulator?

I would love to see some comparison pics - side by side, spine shots, etc.

A great thing about the Regulator is that if the top quillon does begin to bother you it can easily be removed.

Flux, I'm not sure if you've ever had the pleasure of handling a Regulator but it's tied with the War Dog as having my favorite Busse-kin handle.

Yeah, but with too pointy a little tip I love the shorter one

A very useful pointy little tip. The Mil-Regs have more steel at the tip thanks to the saber grind. It's quite stout.

Only one I don't have is a de-Regulator but that is a bit moot anyway... They are a beast of a knife and would be a great choice if you had to go and sort out a dispute "on the river bank" ...

The Regulator is a beast of a knife. Really tough. The only thing I don't like about it is the name. It rubs my libertarian sensiblities the wrong way.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I didn't have an issue with the name until you put it that way. Darn it. I guess I should get rid of mine. Anybody want a free Reg. Bayonet?

I guess I'll take it, Warren.

Anyone else need to dispose of their horrible Regulator?
