Hey all,

New guy here... Mike, from Canada eh

Just placed an order for a Scrapper6 today. Hoping it won't too long it make it up North.

I've got a few q's about the nylon sheath. Is it just a floppy piece of nylon, or is there a plastic liner inside? Anyone done a nice custom sheath setup yet?

Mike

it is a decent sheath...The kydex liner can be fitted a bit if needed with no worries...

Hello and Welcome T/C ! Leatherface didn't mention that he has custom-made sheaths for several of our Yard Dogs, and they all seem quite happy with them! I hope you get active on this forum - it's a neat place with a lot of interesting folks!

Yep, welcome to the yard! The $18 sheath is a decent piece of kit and has a very useful pouch on the front, for the money it's very good.

I think it's the same sheath offered at Swamp Rat. If you want to see the pics of mine, check here: My M6 Survival Kit with Pics

That's a nice little kit Andy. I keep a larger kit similar to that strapped to the first aid kit in my Jeep. Looks like I'm going to have to make a downsized version for my sheath pouch.

Thanks for all the info. I can't wait to get my knife..!

hey Wolf...lucky you living right up near the mountains! I'm out in Tsawwassen, so I have to drive an hour to get into the forest...

JUST GOT MY KNIFE! Holy crap it's HUGE! (for reference, the largest knife I've had until now is a Benchmade Rant drop point, and a couple of machetes). I was quite pleased to find that my Scrapper will pop hairs (not quite as scary as my straight razors, but very impressive nonetheless...)

Leatherface, I've been looking at your sheathes, very nice bro ! I'm going to start dropping hints to my wife for Christmas present ideas. I like that pistol-holster styled high-ride sheath especially...that would be nice and comfortable for Jeeping
