Just to throw burning petrol on the troubled waters... These are some of the worlds best knives backed by the WORLDS BEST warranty.

So hypothetically;.. Someone owns a BR and manages to break it... Eric being a good bloke offers the owner a full cash refund as the shards can't be fixed back together. The owner now has $150 but no BR. As BRs are sadly out of production and the second hand prices seem to be from the Busse catalogue the poor soul is damned to a life without a BR. Moral; love a Busse, SRKW or 'dog knife buy at least two regardless of them having the worlds best warranty! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Do I hear a 'hell yeah!'?

I’ve thought of this before, and there’s money to be made here for an insurance company. Here’s my idea: An insurance company that sells you a policy that covers the difference between the original price of the knife, and the current market value in case of damage. You know they’d make a ton of money from policies, because it would be very unlikely that a Busse family knife would be broken. But if it did, it would cover the difference between your refund from the company, and the current market cost to replace it. Good idea eh? It would encourage more people to use their “valuable” knives that they’re afraid MIGHT become damaged somehow.
