One Sad Moment
As I was grown up I always wanted to go with my daddy but my
mother never let me. I finally went with him when I made 11 years old.
My daddy use to tell me goes to cars and gets some money and bring it
back. I never know what I was doing but all I wanted was to be with my
daddy. We started to be together everyday and I started to make money. I
learned more things everyday.
My daddy went to jail, when I made 14 years old foe selling drugs.
My dad showed me how to make money and I thought it was too, too easy
and something that I can do. So, I started until my daddy got out of
jail. I was 17 years old, when my daddy was in jail, my mom keep saying
"It wasn't good what your daddy was doing now you see where he at". I
always say so, he coming home soon.
When my daddy got out, he picks me up. My mother called my cell
phone and she said "Tiera, the police just came here looking for you". I
told my daddy and he drops me off on the corner and left me. When I went
home I and my mother had a talk. She said "Tiera, you see your daddy
don't even care about you, you going to end up in jail just like him".
We'll she got to me and I listen. I stopped selling drugs. I gave my
daddy everything I had dealing with drugs. My dad asks me what I'm doing
and I told him, I give up, and he slaps me. I went home and told my
mother and she called the police. The police tried to take me, but I
didn't have anything, I was clean. I started to hate my dad for making
me think that I had to live that life I didn't want, I just wanted a
daddy around in my life.
My daddy always wanted to take advantage of people, but this rime
he took it with the wrong one. Those people were the police. He tries to
run and he got shot in the leg and I was watching. I was sad that he got
shot, but I thought he deserve it. I never thought that the police was
going to catch him because smooth enough. I wanted something to slow him
down but not get shot things happen for a reason.

Don't they have a screening process during admissions? Usually there's a minimum level of intelligence required... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I have to get out of here!!!!! I refuse to raise my duaghter in the same public school system that produced this "gem".

I agree, schools tend to teach down to the lowest level; given that evidence, that level is LOW! Lower than Whale crap...

You have to dumb everything down so no one feels stupid or gets left behind.

Sad but true...

If they can make everyone stupid, then no one is special...I dislike these folks!

Sometimes 'When in Rome act like a Roman' is very poor advice. It is better to blaze your own path on occasions, your daughters future would be one of those.. (big time!).

Well GF, what's stopping you? Sounds like it's time for you to blaze a new trail to points elsewhere. Remember one of my favorite sayings:

There's always home school. Who would care more about your daughter's education than you and your wife?
