I just split some wood with the 1311. Its long enough to get good leverage. I just did a few pieces and I got some ridiculous flex. It went right back but is this ok to do long term? Last year I used by BK9 all year for splitting stove wood. I dont think it flexed or maybe its just more noticeable since its so long.

The yards steel is still steel. I would be okay with a few flex moments but I wouldn't make it a habit

Okay so who is ready for a rant?

Does anyone else live in a town? I do and it is driving me crazy, we don't have sidewalks in my area so it goes from road to my lawn. This is what is causing me to want to go postal there is a retirement home run by the city next door and every day I wake up to someone parked on my lawn from small cars to pusher motorhomes now if it was the residents it wouldn't bother me so much but it's there gosh darn (self editing mode on) visitors. The real kick in the jewels is they have a paved visitors parking area, I have talked to the manager of the building and the city about it and nothing is helping. I tried to put up no parking signs on the lawn and was politely told by the sheriff when a city council member called him on me that I couldn't do it. They claim that the right of way covers people parking on it by the way the right of way they are claiming runs to my dining room Window. I just need to get rid of this place and move back where I belong in the country, but does anyone have any ideas of anything I can do to remedy the situation until that day comes?

Wow I did pretty well on the language part lol thanks dogs

LOL I have thought about both of those or digging a ditch with my backhoe, but my better half has put a halt to those plans.

Drive stakes at both ends of the lawn and hang a rope between them.

Sharpened stakes then have a single opening with a noose trap. I recommend the trench behind the first layer of stakes and put a few extra in the trench. Or move to your bug out local
