It's lighter than I figured, my buddy had a POS one that weighed at least ten pounds. I guess it really depends on what role you plan to fill with it. IF it's SHTF, I'm a big believer in KISS and keep it as light as possible. IF it's for big game hunting in open areas, then a scope is a no brainer

And yeah you have to know what you are looking for if you want to buy one as time went on they ran out of new parts kits and man power to put them together right but there are good ones out there, if you can find a spanish one you are golden otherwise check all the specs and welds.

Yeah Skunk I think I will want at least a break open 12 but I figure thats last on the chopping block.

I've got some saved up, buy like you said, ammo is like guns and knives. Oh and money. You can NEVER have to much.

LOL this scary time we are going through right now is really cutting into the money I got the talking too this morning so I may be done for a while, at least untill I liquidate some assets.

There is just something nice about a hinged back shotgun. I never even touched a pump until I was 15. And NEVER messed with an auto until I was about 37.
