We are supposed to be overcast all day, high in the high 60's and have thunderstorms later on today, with severe Tstorms after midnight.

I feel like I should know this already but are the blade coatings food safe? I saw the picture of Dan with his 511 and birthday cake and got wondering. NO THEY ARE DEADLY POISON! Don't EVER let one of the scrapyard blades touch any food! Seriously I figure they are VERY food safe. I Mean look at all the pics of folks cutting up food items with them. Just had to mess with ya. now I'm confused!

The thing that worries me is using a blade that's been chemically stripped for food prep. Those chemicals can be REALLY toxic stuff.....

Good point AFF, I hadn't even thought about that. I think the coatings are food safe but are likely hard to clean because of the fissures and valleys in the coating. Could be wrong on that

I think that's the only thing stoppin me from stripping my Boss Jack as I'd like to be able to use it for food prep. I just googled "least toxic paint stripper" and came up with this stuff..... http://www.homedepot.com/buy/citristrip-...-hcg73803t.htmlYou guys think this would work for the coatings?
