I made my 311 more grippy

Hi Everybody,

Well I have been playing around with stippling a couple of my plastic framed guns, that need a bit more grip when handling them and have been doing the stippling that everyone is doing.

I had even figured out how to draw with my stipple tool (more on that later).

So I looked over at a Res C handle 311 and thought hmm maybe it will work on this too.

The handle are pretty grippy already but maybe this could add to the purchase on places you would want it.

I did not do the whole handle because I wanted it to be interesting looking.

what do you all think ? it should work on any rubber handled knife.

Now I have to figure out how to do that to my Benchmade Barrage and mini barrage, they are just to dang slippery!

Any you tube tutorials people here like? Also will my soldering iron work?

Well, you could do the same thing with a wood-burning tool; about $13.00 at Wal-Mart. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Although I find my 311 plenty grippy, that pattern looks terrific. I am curious to see the drawing you aluded to. The SYKCO dog logo on the handles would be very cool, hint hint.

I might be tempted to add some mudder details to the 911 when it eventually arrives.

Wonder how it would hold up on a big chopper. It would be sweet if Dan put a logo on the handle. I like the yards logo on a blade better than Scrapyard knife works letters

Well I DID have a robe kinda like that once.

I just remembered. I don't have a 311 HANDLE that is stippled. BUT, Rainwalker did make me a sheath for my 311 that he stippled. It really turned out nice.

The question that remains is, what color light saber do you have?

Let's just say it AIN"T Red. White or baby blue of course. It matches my Golden Brown eyes.
