Here is my Chopweiler today getting ready to cut up the steak. I have a few new Bussekin showing up this week. I am hoping one of the next few weekends I can go camping, will bring back some pics.

Not a zilla, a skizzy. Formal name Scrapazashi, the yards only sword to date, although the 1311 comes close to being a sword.

Ah, my bad skor. Got my hopes up for a minute. The 1311 will be the closest I NEED to a sword, for now anyway <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thought I would bring this back to the top with a couple of pics from Labor Day. The 911 and KDH had both been reprofiled a bit. The 911 chopped suprisingly well and the handle feels just great. When you tire a bit you find yourself holding further back on the handle for more momentum, but it is still secure. The KDH was easier to chop with but the handle gets a little rough on bare hands after a while. May try a cord wrap to see how it feels.

Hooker, great pics and tools. How well of a combo do you think that 911 is paired with the hawk? Or would you downsize a bit on the knife because of the hawks performance?

If I was to be carrying the hawk I would probably pair it up with a muk and be ready for a wilderness adventure. The 911 can chop but the chips really fly with the hawk.

Thanks for the input hooker. The muk is on my growing list. The hawk will come first though.
