renee mentioned that they charged the first run of these and are waiting on the next batch which they don't know how soon will be here. So we will have to live vicariously thru the eyes of our brothers who will soon be armed with the mighty 1311 while we sit and drool.

Me too . I was in within a minute or two. Maybe the first batch was really small.

I can't wait to see if the 1311 dethrones the Basic 11 as my go-to chopper. As long as I get a good sheath and can still belt carry it, I think it will see as much use as my B-11 at the very least. I think it can be belt carried with the right sheath. Maybe an open back Kydex sheath with legstraps. I'm so psyched that Dan made this blade!! Thank you Dan & Co.

I require notice. I want to take my 1311 out before my Rodent 9 that I got yesterday. Since I've been running a temperature over 100 for the past 3 days I don't know when I'll get out, so there are a few days left for my 1311 to ship.

Does anyone know if paying up front helped me get mine earlier?

Dunno, I paid for 2 of mine up front. Within like 2 minutes of it being up <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />.

But 2 days later I ordered 2 more and asked to combine shipping, so I'm probably backed up in the next batch because of that.

I also payed with PayPal upfront, and haven't heard anything yet... I did however order a few hours after it went up...
