I gotta protect my face!! Time to grow a beard.
Hmm, I'd hate to run into this guy in a dark alley. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Anyone else beard up for winter?
BTW, I'm in California, cold for us is 25*F. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/doh.gif" alt="" />

I live in SoCal and spend a LOT of time in dark alleys (sp?)...
No beard for me.
It rained for three seconds today...the freeways are a mess

Mine grows in completely in about 2 weeks, so I have no qualms about shaving it off periodically. Yeah, any kind of precipitation in CA causes mayhem.

My gf likes it neat, usually shave with razor, then go over it with a trimmer down to number 2.

I tend not to shave during deer season. So now through late December. I'm the same way though. I can grow a beard in a couple weeks lol

I shave because I have to. But I use an old school safety razor. 15 bucks bought me 100 blades. So I'm good to go. Once you get it down you won't go back to the cartridge razors.
Better shave better looking face and way more enjoyable.

I've worn a beard since retiring from the military, only 'cause I hate to shave.
Shaved it off on a whim one day to see if I still had a chin and found out that I had two! Soon after, my wife and co-workers encouraged me to grow it back.
It seems the more I cover my face the better I look.

That's like saying buy one good knife and that's all you need. Razor collecting is fun. So far I've kept myself to 4 straights. Shaving with them is fun, I liken it to learning to drive manual, but with more blood.
Still fighting to not buy any hones.
I try to stay clean-shaven. Could not grow a decent beard if I tried.

On Second thought, the 1311 would probably do just a good! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I have had a beard of some sort pretty much ever since I got out for the last time after my time in the sandbox. My wife likes me clean shaven so I look younger, but she only gets that once or twice a year. Gives her something to look forward to. I get teased about looking like a lumberjack, but that suits me fine.

It is supposed to be 0F tonight. So, a beard would be handy.

I've tried growing a beard, it looked horrible on me. I am however lazy and am often stubbly.
I'm in SoCal too. As far as I'm concerned there's two seasons, Shorts and Pants.
